It is a great design and a good example of how to combine digital security with mechanical security to protect your data in a USB flash drive.
First, this 007 USB Flash Drive is physically secured with an analogue security of a bike lock. Not only that this lock covers the USB port, but also ties the lock to an object (like a desk) via a steel cable.
Now if someone managed to guess the three digits combination of the security lock, then he has next to break through the second level of security which is the software password to access the data.
Don’t start looking to purchase the 007 USB Flash Drive online. This USB Flash Drive is just a design concept and it’s not a reality yet … so you will not find this anywhere in any store. Maybe one day this design will be adobted and converted into a reality.

This is very clever design. Besides password protection you also get durability of the metal casing. You can also get usb drives with biometric security these days.
